I have been asked to design the personal shopping suite for Topman in Oxford Circus, London. This will be the first of it's kind and will also feature many of my products from many of my collections. It's an exciting space which will offer personal shopping advice from specialist stylists whom have all worked previously for luxury brands such as Westwood and Prada. With this in mind the look I have created for the space is a modern take on a Gentlemen's Club. Lots of moving wall panels to display the clothes with splashes of polished gold and parquet wood. Cant wait for the space to launch on 25th May.

Lee Broom has just completed the design for The Lost Angel in Battersea which is the second venue to be opened by the owners of the hugely successful and award winning venue, Lost Society also designed by Lee in 2006. Formally Dusk Bar (another Lee Broom design) Lost Angel is a modern take on the old British Boozer, a neighborhood venue where they serve real ale. Design features include stuffed pheasants, a piano, a telephone box and full size portrait of Elizabeth II to name a few. The bar has already been successfully reviewed on View London who say "The decor alone is worth the trip to The Lost Angel". In February 2009, The Valmont Club was invited to host Retail Week Magazines 21st birthday party on the 4th floor of London's prestigious department store Liberty. Lee Broom was asked to design the space for this one off event. Four custom bars were created for the party including many furniture pieces from both of Lee’s collections, which can also be seen in The Valmont Club.
And in press this month the Low Voltage Vanity mirror can be seen in an interiors shoot for the March edition of Living etc.

We have just completed work on Sohos infamous Arts Theatre Club on Frith Street. The legendary venue has long played an important role in Soho's bohemian nightlife. The venue has not lost any of its charm and Lee has ensured that its character has remained in tact. The design focuses on the Arts Clubs intimacy and late night appeal which has resulted in a design scheme that we have called 'working mens club chic'. The result is homely and inviting with the usual quirky touches you will find in a Lee Broom venue. Images will be featured in the projects section soon.

For this years Bar Show, Lee was asked to create a piece of furniture as part of an exhibition entitled Rubbish Designers. The result was a slick recycled glass coffee table constructed from discarded Perrier bottles, which were glazed in chrome. Who realised that rubbish could be so chic? The exhibition was a great success as was Bar 08 overall.
Also, Makilees latest venue 10 Feet Tall is going to be reviewed in next months Theme magazine. The bar is proving to be one of the busiest and best venues in Cardiff, please see the projects section for images.
