This month i'll be co judging the exhibit entries for Origin- the contemporary craft fair to be held at Spitalfields during The London Design Festival in September. They have a discerning panel poring over the entries this year comprising of Brigid Howarth, craft consultant for National Heritage, Henrietta Thompson, editor at large of Wallpaper Magazine, Michelle Alger, buying manager for home and gift at Liberty department store, Flow Gallery director Yvonna Demczynska and me. I have recently discovered that I have been shortlisted to win a commission to design pendant lighting for the new Westfield in Stratford as part of a scheme called Studio East. British designer Tom Dixon and Elle Decoration editor Michelle Ogundehin are shortlisting the talent and the winner will be announced June 14th. The event will be held at a new pop up restaurant run by Bistroteque on the roof of the Westfield site in Stratford. Other panelists include Mary Portas, Tracey Emin, Tony chambers, Erin O'Connor and Roland Mouret.....exciting stuff

The Electric Louis chair and the new Bright on Bistro chair have been exclusively photographed for Wallpaper* magazine for their Far East edition. The two page spread forms part of a story photographing the best chairs in the world available now. The chair has also just been photographed for the October edition of World of Interiors.
