There are three ranges within the Heritage Boy collection; Tiles, Parquetry and Carpetry each drawing on traditional British manufacturing techniques. Classic shapes are combined with unexpected applications and all the pieces are hand made in Britain using original techniques, some dating back to the 17th Century.
The Tile Lamp collection explores the use of traditional glazed tile on lighting. Oversized lamps are clad in various formations giving the impression of an upper surface of a tiled column.
The Tile Lamps use genuine traditional twice-fired tiles made the same way as many years gone by. The moulds are hand carved and monogrammed for authenticity and are produced by the same factory that produces tiles for the London Underground.
